CREDAI NCR Chapter to Regulate Dealers

CREDAI NCR Chapter plans to regulate the property dealers in the region. CREDAI NCR Chapter has formed a consumer redressal forum last year to receive the petitions from the buyers.

DELHI-NCR: CREDAI NCR Chapter has been witnessing that the number of complaints against the property dealers in the region increasing. This has prompted the apex body of the developers to regulate the scrupulous dealers.

The chapter has received a number of complaints about the dealers. Buyers’ main complaint was that most of these property dealers do not disclose many of the details about the projects.

So to solve this, the CREDAI NCR Chapter has asked its members to have all details printed on their project-brochures. It added that the project brochures should include carpet area too, besides the total salable area.

While some of the property dealers conceal many facts, others offer absolutely mis-leading facts about the projects. Though all these are done with the purpose of wooing the buyers, most of the buyers feel that their selection of purchase was a wrong one.

Whatsoever be it, whether these fraud measures are used as marketing means or techniques, they are not justifiable. This has affected the home sales in the Delhi-NCR.

So by regulating the property dealers, the CREDAI NCR Chapter hopes to boost the home sales in the region.

Introduction of new lock-in-period for sale of second hand properties is another important measure imposed by the apex body of developers. By this the CREDAI NCR Chapter aims to boost the end-users’ sentiments and revive the home sales. Transfer charges are expected to be raised.

CREDAI NCR Chapter has got a new chief. Anil Sharma CMD Amrapali Group is the new chief. Mr. Sharma has been elected as the new president for three years. His term will get over only by the end of 2015.
