Real estate market in Ghaziabad is expected to grow faster with the arrival of new link road. The new 22 Km –long link road will connect Ghaziabad and Greater Noida.
Ghaziabad is likely to see faster growth of realty in the city as the construction of Ghaziabad-Greater Noida link road has been resumed. The 22 Km link road will connect both the cities making it easier for the people to travel up and down. With the completion of the link road the travelling time will be reduced by great extents.
All the more the proposed link road will reduce the traffic on NH-24 which is, at present, the main stream for commuting. The Authority plans to construct two under-ways long with the link road. This will make the traffic all the more easier and less-time-consuming.
One of the under-ways will be developed near Kala Patthar while the other one will be close to CISF Chowk. Both these under-ways will cut short the traffic on NH -24.
Even before the coming up of the link road, builders had started developing projects in this corridor which falls under Ghaziabad Development Authority. Crossings Republik is one of the best examples. This project is jointly developed by seven top builders of the area.
The area has already become highly populous with the launch of Crossings Republik into which around 3000 families have already shifted. The first ‘global town’ of India at present is well connected to Noida Extension and NH-24 and with the completion of the link road the project is expected to become more popular.
Mr. Santosh Yadav said that the approval of the link road is an attempt to meet the increasing demand for housing units. The vice-chairman of GDA added that the Authority will develop two under-ways along with the new link road which is expected to reduce the travelling distance from Ghaziabad to Noida.
